Byram

Byram is located on the south west corner of Greenwich on the Port Chester border, south of Route 1. To the north of Route 1, neighboring Byram, is Pemberwick (mainly the area around Pemberwick Road). To the north of Pemberwick is Glenville. Byram has a range of homes from multi-family to large waterside mansions. Most homes in Byram tend to be smaller and on smaller plots. Byram has a host of restaurants and shops and very short drive to all the fabulous restaurants in Port Chester as well as the cinema in Port Chester and Costco! One of the main features of Byram is the beautiful Byram Beach and Park. 

 

Byram Beach is a public beach for Greenwich residents. As well as the beach, there is also a huge outdoor pool right by the beach, for Greenwich residents as well as tennis courts and playground. Byram has two elementary schools - Hamilton Ave and New Lebanon - which both feed into Western Middle School and then Greenwich High School. Western Middle School is also located in Byram, so short drive or walk to school from homes in Byram. It's an easy commute to Grand Central from Port Chester Station (5 minute drive) or from Greenwich Station (approx 10/15 min drive).
